The Food Thatch, a popular local eatery known for its hearty dishes and warm atmosphere, was ready to modernise its customer experience and brand identity. While the food and service kept customers coming back, their branding was dated, print materials lacked visual appeal, and there was no streamlined way for customers to place orders online. Marketing was inconsistent, with limited fresh content to attract new customers or keep the regulars engaged. The challenge was to refresh the brand, improve marketing impact, and create a seamless digital ordering solution tailored to the venue’s needs.

We started with a complete brand refresh, introducing a contemporary logo, vibrant colour palette, and welcoming typography to reflect The Food Thatch’s personality.
For print media, we designed stylish, easy-to-read menus, engaging flyers, and bold posters to showcase specials, promotions, and seasonal offers — all keeping the new branding consistent across touchpoints.
On the digital front, we developed a bespoke, mobile-friendly website with integrated online ordering — allowing customers to easily browse the menu, place orders, and pay securely.
Content creation played a big role, with professional food photography, venue imagery, and promotional graphics that brought their offering to life.
To tie everything together, we implemented a hospitality marketing strategy combining print, online promotions, and seasonal campaigns to keep customers informed and excited year-round.

The Food Thatch now has a strong, unified brand presence that shines both in-venue and online. The bespoke online ordering system boosted takeaway sales and improved customer convenience, while the refreshed branding and high-quality content made their marketing more engaging and recognisable. Print campaigns and targeted promotions increased footfall, and their social media saw greater interaction thanks to consistent, visually appealing content. The result: a revitalised venue experience that keeps loyal customers returning and draws in new ones eager to try what’s on offer.
